We Are Seeds [The Art Garden's Poem]

WE ARE SEEDS

By Eden Hussein

Born the same,
Naked and Unnamed
On the same earth

Breathe the same air of the sky
And exhale the same

Yet you seek for differences
To prove us immigrants
To leave us behind
To push us to the hell

You find happiness
In our desperation
In our sufferings
In our failures
In our struggles for survival

We tell you,
We are fighters.
We always overcome.
Be noted, we don't surrender
And never give up!

We are seeds.
If you bury us,
We will come out as Trees.

Note - "You" refers to Burmese Government.
"We" refers to Rohingyas.
