''Rohingyar Diindaháni (Rohingya Calendar) based on Lunar year called Sanda Cón in Rohingya Zuban. Began from AD 788, marked on memorial of one of Chandra (Sandra) king's achieving throne ceremony day, when Arab traders were given permission for permanent residents as their wishes in Arakan by Chandra King” said, some Rohingya schoolars and historians. Some say, Sanda Cón came from Sanskritic 'Chandhra' means Moon. They also counted day Crescent (14) days and Melting moon (14) days. Crescent moon 1 day called simply “Ek Tarik” or “Ek Gorí Zun”, Melting moon 1 day called “Ek Górí” or “Ek Gorí Andár”. And Full Moon is “Furni Macá”, Moonless is “Ouñccá”. Sanda Cón have also 7 days a week, 12 months a year. In earlier times Rohingya had also used Hindu lunar months. As Ashin, Katrik, Badro, etc.. Rohingyas' months were named after the great events of Islamic history. Namely -
