THE FRRIEND'S POT
A woman asked to borrow a pot from her friend and handed it back the next morning together with a much smaller pot.
“It is the son of your pot, and was born during the night, " she explained. The friend was delighted to accept this.
A few days later, the woman borrowed the pot again, but this time she did not give it back. When the friend asked if she could have her pot back the woman replied: “It's dead."
“A pot can't die," her friend insisted.
“And why not?" the woman went on.
“If it can have a son, then it can surely die."

အမ်ဳိးသမီးတစ္ေယာက္ဟာ သူမ မိတ္ေဆြထံမွ အိုးတစ္လံုးငွားတယ္။ ေနာက္တစ္ေန႔ နံနက္မွာ အလြန္ေသးငယ္တဲ့ အိုးေလးတစ္လံုးနဲ႔အတူ ျပန္ေပးပါတယ္။
“ ဒါဟာ ရွင္အိုးရဲ႕ သားငယ္ေလးပဲ။ ညတုန္းက ေမြးတာ" လို႔ သူမက ရွင္းျပပါတယ္။
သူမ မိတ္ေဆြဟာ ဝမ္းေျမာက္ဝမ္းသာ လက္ခံခဲ့ပါတယ္။
ရက္မ်ားမၾကာမီ အမ်ဳိးသမီးဟာ အိုးကိုေနာက္တစ္ႀကိမ္ထပ္ငွားျပန္တယ္။ ဒီတစ္ႀကိမ္မွာေတာ့ အိုးကိုျပန္မေပးေတာ့ပါဘူး။ သူမ အိုးကိုျပန္ေပးဖို႔ေတာင္းတဲ့အခါ အမ်ဳိးသမီးက ေျပာလိုက္တယ္။
“အိုး.... ေသသြားၿပီ"
“ဘာျဖစ္လို႔ အိုးကေသရမွာလဲ။"
“အိုးမွာ သားေလးတစ္ေယာက္ေတာင္ ရိွႏိုင္ေသးရင္၊ ေသႏိုင္တာ အေသအခ်ာေပါ့" တဲ့ေလ။
